Heather Abbey is a mother and businesswoman from Little Pine First Nation. Sheplaced in nine business competitions to start her businesses, and is quick to credit her peers and mentees as her driving force.

Abbey has benefited from mentorship to start her businesses. As the owner of ShopIndig.ca,an online aboriginal marketplace, and clothing lineKiowa Sage Apparel, she has flourished under the mentorship of Neechie Gears Kendal Netmaker, and ManitobaMukluksco-founder Josh Fine. She gives back by mentoring in two national aboriginal entrepreneurship programs, and created her own aboriginal business startup competition.

Heather is opening her first ShopIndig store in The Centre March 2016.
