North Bay man, 45, charged after drug bust turns up $10k in pain pills
360 opioid pain killers seized and police say they were meant for trafficking
North Bay police say they seized more than $10,000worth of a powerful painkiller meant for street sale and now, a45-year old man has been charged.
Police saidthe bust happened in Mattawa on Monday, where, after investigation, a man's truck was pulled over by officers.
Police saidthey seized 360 hydromorphone pills commonly known by the brand nameDilaudid from the truck, worth an estimated $30each.
Officers also reportedly seized $1,090 cash, as well as the accused's truck as "offence-related property."
A North Bay man has been charged with possession and trafficking offenses, among other things.
He was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
