How you can support local food banks with CBC Toronto's Sounds of the Season

CBC Toronto is kicking off its annual holiday fundraiser Sounds of the Season.

You can donate online until Dec. 31 at cbc.ca/sots

It's the season of giving!

CBC Toronto is kickingoff its annual holiday fundraiser Sounds of the Season.

The two-month campaign will raise money and food donations for food banks in the Greater Toronto Area.

Last year, CBC Toronto raised over $695,000 and 9,558 kilogramsof food because of your generosity. This year, we're looking to raise even more for GTA families in need.

Join us Friday, Dec. 2 for a day of live broadcasting, entertainment and giveaways. (CBC)

You can donate online untilDec. 31atcbc.ca/sots. You can also bring a food donation to the CBC Broadcasting Centre at 250 Front St. W., or call 1-855-SOTS-CBC(1-855-768-7222) to make a phone donation.

The highlight of the Sounds of the Season campaign falls onFriday, Dec. 2. Starting at5:30 a.m., CBC Toronto will open its doors for a day of live broadcasting, entertainment and giveaways.

Meet CBC Toronto personalities like Matt Galloway, Dwight Drummond and Gill Deacon on Friday, Dec. 2.

All proceeds go directly to local food banks.
