1 dead, 1 in charged with impaired driving in Mississauga crash

A 40-year-old man has been charged with impaired driving causing death following a fatal crash in MississaugaFridaymorning.

Ahmad Rihawiis facing three charges in connectionto the collision, whichhappened atConfederation Parkway and BurnhamthorpeRoad just before 5:30 a.m.

Police say Rihawi's car t-bonedanother vehicle at the intersection.

The 44-year-old woman drivingthe other vehicle was killed in the crash.

Rihawiis expected to appear in bail court this afternoon.
