Alec Baldwin in talks to take Donald Trump act beyond SNL
Baldwin credits Trump as 'head writer of all the material we do'
Alec Baldwin may be taking his Donald Trump act on the road.
Baldwin toldABC Newsthat he is "in discussions" with other venues for his impression of the president-elect besides NBC's Saturday Night Live.
The 58-year-old actor has played Trump on SNL since last year. He says he will continue to play Trump on the late-night comedy show while also looking for other opportunities to spoof the incoming Republican president.

"I'm gonna do [Saturday Night Live] as much as I can," Baldwin said, "and there's discussions about other venues we might pursue to further express our gratitude and admiration for the Trump administration."
Baldwin, whose other regular gig at the moment is hosting ABC's game showMatch Game,credited Trump himself with being "the head writer of all the material we do" in any comedy spoofs.
"We just sit back and we look at Twitter, we read the news and we go, 'There it is!'" he said.
"We're just gonna sit back and just let the good times roll."
Trump has complained about Baldwin's SNL appearances on Twitter. He said last month that "the Baldwin impersonation just can't get any worse."
