Michael Bubl's son doing 'well' after cancer treatment

LuisanaLopilatosaid Noah, her three-year-old son with MichaelBubl, is "well" following treatment for cancer in Los Angeles.

Speaking in Spanish at a press conferencefor a new film project in her native Argentina on Monday, the actressand model said that Noah has a long recovery ahead of him.

The experience has made her value life more, she said.

The family last shared an update on Noah in February, when they said he was progressing well in his battle against the disease.

"He has been brave throughout and we continueto be inspired by his courage," the statement said.

"Our gratitude to his doctors and caretakers cannot be putinto words.We'd also like to thank the thousands of people that have sent their prayersand good wishes to us. As we continue this journey, we are greatly comforted by your support and love."

They announced Noah's cancer diagnosisin November, but havenot said what type of cancer he has or exactly when he was diagnosed.

The couple also has another son, Elias, who turned one earlier this year.

Bubl had a busy schedule planned after releasinghis ninth studio album,Nobody But Me,last fall, but withdrew from a number of major international appearances including hosting this month's Juno Awards to focus on his son's care.
