Read Snowden NSA document on G8, G20 summit surveillance

CBC News has published documents related to a story showing how theUnited States and Canada worked together to eavesdrop during the G8 and G20 inToronto in 2010.

CBC News believes in transparency and showing supporting documents toits journalism. It held back on publishing the U.S. material untildiscussions with the U.S. government had been completed over the weekend.

The material is sensitive and CBC News has removed, at the request ofthe White House and the U.S. Director of National Intelligence,information that may identify individuals who could be at risk if the material was released.
