DIY Foam Easter Eggs for the Bath

By Megan McChesney

Apr 10, 2014

This little Easter craft took all of seven minutes to make (I didn't time it, but five minutes feels too short, and ten minutes feels too long), and it's a fun way to bring some open-ended creative play to the bath.

What You Need:
  • craft foam sheets
  • scissors

Make Bath Eggs

All you have to do is cut out a few foam egg shapes, and a few different shapes to decorate them with! I cut out hearts, dots, stripes, zig-zags and triangles. Simply stick them to the side of the tub and let your little one get to decorating.

Note: I used foam from both the dollar store and the craft store, and the purple dollar-store foam bled onto the side of my tub. Happily, it came off easily, but if left for too long, it's possible it could stain. Check for colour-fastness before using craft foam in the bath!
