Nature Craft: DIY Sand Art

Daisy loves to make nature crafts, and here is how to make her sand art! Click on the image below for a printable PDF of this project, or scroll down for the instructions.

Step 1

The next time you're at the beach, collect some sand and shells or other small treasures. Only take what's abundant and only take a little.

Step 2

Gather your paper, felt pens and glue from your craft supplies. Draw an outline of something that you saw at the beach. Maybe a sea star, a fish or some waves.

Step 3

Outline or fill in your shape with glue. While the glue is still wet, sprinkle glitter, sand, shells and other treasures on top. Carefully shake off any excess sand and let dry. Voilà!

Remember there is no right or wrong way to make a nature craft, so have fun!
