A new Bloomberg News-Morning Consult poll shows Harris leading or tied with Trump in each of the seven battleground states among registered voters.

The poll was conducted from Aug. 23 to the 27, following the end of Democratic National Convention in Chicago.

Eli Yokley, the U.S. politics analyst for Morning Consult, sought to explain why Harris didnt see a big uptick in the polls after the DNC, which generated a lot of energy for her historic candidacy.

Kamala Harris did not get a convention bump because she got a bump at the beginning of her campaign,\" Yokley said. \"Her bump was her campaign launch.\"
