Angelina Jolie made her first red carpet appearances as the sweet little sidekick to her award-winning father Jon Voight , accompanying him to various premieres and parties. But for Jolie, frilly dresses and pearls were not long for this world. By the '90s and early 2000s, she started to embrace a gothic rocker side, wearing graphics tees and black clothing that only seemed to accentuate her pale complexion. Her intense personal style transcended to the big screen in her first major movie "Lara Croft: Tomb Raider ," where Jolie exclusively wore rugged boots and tight-fitting black clothes.

Throughout the past few years, the face of Louis Vuitton has unquestionably made a major transformation. She ditched the harsh makeup, overload of leather and wacky hairstyles, and has developed a couture look that highlights her true beauty. As her entourage of adorable children has multiplied, so has her collection of amazing high-fashion pieces. And of course, she still manages to show off her enviable legs with dramatically-slit gowns.

To celebrate Angelina Jolie's 37th birthday on June 4th, we're taking a look at her extreme style transformation, as well as anticipating what sort of bold outfit she'll stun us with next. For a girl who allegedly used to collect snakes and lizards, nothing is too out of the question.
