Comedian Bill Cosby s petition for parole from his 3-to 10-year prison sentence for sexual assault has been denied because hes refusing required therapy for violent sexual predators.

We knew he was going to be rejected, Cosbys spokesperson Andrew Wyatt told Reuters. He called me and told me that if he didnt take the course, he would be denied. He has maintained his innocence from the beginning .

Wyatt said Cosby is still hopeful about winning his appeals, even though he continues to refuse the mandatory therapy.
