Pitt took the stage at the Palm Springs Film Festival on Saturday to present British actor David Oyelowo with the Breakthrough Performance Award for his performance as Martin Luther King Jr. in "Selma."

After saying some kind words, Pitt asked the question on everyone's mind: "How the hell do you pronounce his name?" The actor broke down Oyelowo's name into syllables, having the audience repeat it back to him in an adorable sing-along until they got it just right.
