In the words of interior designer Benjamin Noriega-Ortiz: "Light is the magical ingredient that makes or breaks a space." And this funky DIY wall sconce made from copper pipes is certainly proof that a clever lighting fixture really does add to a room's character.

Claire Zinnecker shared this cool project on Camille Styles' blog , and explains that all the supplies you'll need to make one of your own can be found in a quick trip to the hardware store. She even made it swivel, so it makes for a great reading lamp. The finished result is an industrial-chic accessory that's sure to warm up any space.
