If you like to cook, you should definitely have a good dumpling recipe in your arsenal. Dumplings, known by many different names, make great appetizers -- and if you eat enough of them, you can call them dinner too. While the most common dumpling is pork-filled, these little pockets of dough can be packed with a number of savory fillings.
There are over 30 types of dumplings across the globe (and yes, ravioli is technically considered a dumpling), but what really comes to mind when dumplings are mentioned are the Eastern varieties. Whether they're Japanese Gyozas, Chinese Pot Stickers or Nepalese Momos, we can't get enough of these Asian-flavored dumplings.
