Vice President Kamala Harris issued a stark reminder about the legal troubles engulfing former President Donald Trump when responding to a supporter during a Labor Day campaign rally in Pittsburgh on Monday.

Democratic presidential nominee Harris was talking about her Republican rival Trump trying to pull us backward, including back to a time before workers had the freedom to organize when she was interrupted by a member of the audience who shouted, Hes going to jail.

Harris quickly responded with a reference to Trumps myriad indictments and convictions. Well, the courts will handle that and we will handle November. How about that? Harris asked.

Well handle November, Harris added, to cheers from supporters. Let the courts handle that other thing. But were not going back.

Harris had a similar response in August when supporters at a rally in Wisconsin taunted Trump with the chant, Lock him up.

Well, hold on, hold on, hold on, she said at the time. You know what? Here, hold on. Heres the thing, the courts are going to handle that part of it. Were going to beat him in November.
