Katie Couric's team over at her new daytime talk show released the official first promo for the broadcaster's upcoming September debut.

"Katie," debuts on September 10, 2012 at 4:00 p.m, and will compete directly with Ellen Degeneres' daytime talk show, "Ellen," and Anderson Cooper 's show, "Anderson."

Similar in tone and feel to the video Couric's team released earlier this week , the official promo features the former "Today" host having drinks with her friends, meeting fans in the park, and buying flowersall to the tune of Colbie Caillat's "Brighter Than the Sun."
