Katy Perry hit up the Coachella music festival this past weekend , debuting her new dark purple hair and wearing a gauzy, see-through dress, which she described as "sponsored by courtney love, virgin suicides & fern gully" on Twitter.

When she wasn't crying over the Tupac hologram that amazed audiences, she was having a blast with some pals, lip-synching along to Carly Rae Jepsen's smash hit "Call Me Maybe."

The 27-year-old singer was partying poolside with her friends as they videotaped themselves goofing around to the ultra-catchy tune and uploaded it to YouTube. The video isn't quite as well-produced as the version Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, Ashley Tisdale and pals made back in February, but Jepsen was thrilled to see that Perry is digging her song. "Well... @KatyPerry I have to say that you made my night!" she tweeted on Tuesday .

Jepsen's song is currently sitting at No. 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, just below Katy Perry's "Part Of Me."
