Kerstin Emhoff, the ex-wife of Doug Emhoff , was involved in the making of a touching short film about the second gentleman, which was shown at the Democratic National Convention on Tuesday night.

In an Instagram post shared on Tuesday, Kerstin Emhoff, a film and TV producer, shared that she produced the short film through her production company, Ventureland.

The film, This is My Dad Doug, is narrated by her son, Cole, whom she shares with her ex-husband.

Kerstin and Doug Emhoff divorced in 2008 after 16 years of marriage. Doug Emhoff wed Vice President Kamala Harris in 2014.

In addition to Cole, 29, Kerstin and Doug Emhoff also have a daughter, Ella, 25.
