At the end of March, a friend reminded me that Pete Buttigieg was still running for president when the month began. I couldnt believe it. What a long month March felt like but we all knew the pandemic would wrap up in just a couple of weeks and life would soon return to something near normal.

Now, in November after months and months of a never-ending pandemic and a brutal election season thats still unresolved pretty much the whole first 10 months of the year seem like a distant era.
