The models are back!

After two years of only celeb covers, Women's Wear Daily noted , V chose not one, not two, but eight models for its latest issue. Shot by the busiest photographer in fashion, a.k.a. Terry Richardson, the four covers each feature a top model pairing: Candice Swanepoel and Joan Smalls; Daphne Groeneveld and Saskia de Brauw; Sui He and Hanaa Ben Abdesslem, and Bambi Northwood-Blyth and Lindsey Wixson.

Carine Roitfeld did the styling duties and what a job she did: the girls wear Resort 2012's brightest, splashiest fashions, including the ubiquitous blue and red Balenciaga prints (seen on Jennifer Aniston and Anna Wintour ).

Said Roitfeld to WWD , "These eight girls are unique, not one is like the other. Candice is the only blonde and blue-eyed of this new generation of supermodels. Joan is black, Sui He is Asian, Hanna is North African. It's their diversity that makes each of them, to me, truly modern. They bring a new energy to fashion."

Yep, those outfits are definitely energetic. And a little bit blinding.

Check out all four V covers below -- which pairing is your fave?
