The actor was found dead at his home in Austin, Texas. He was 43.
Christian LeBlanc said he "never spent a day in the hospital" prior to being diagnosed with multiple myeloma in June of this year.
Director Andy Muschietti posted the video in which he offered her the part, including her sweetly confused reaction when he asked, "Can you fly?"
The actor said he had "difficulty breathing" and fever for 11 days in isolation from his family.

Bell also hosted her own daytime talk show in Chicago for 33 years.
The actor starred on the popular CBS soap opera for over 25 years.
The actor, who played Paul Williams, said the soap is "going in another direction."
This is the first time the show has gone this far with two major characters of the same gender.
We've got an exclusive sneak peek at the "Young and the Restless" Katherine Chancellor memorial episodes honoring the late Jeanne Cooper. The clip features Cooper's son, Corbin Bernsen, reprising his role as Father Todd Williams to preside over Katherine's funeral. The memorial begins Sept. 3.
I think he wanted to say something to me then, [but] we didn't have time to say. The girls went off with him, and when they got out of the car, he said, "Bye, I love you." They said, "Bye, dad," and that was it. We never saw him again.
